Squawkes

Pic 1: So the other day, we went to the park (this is Abby in the outfit she picked out). On the way home, she wrapped her jacket around her head, so she couldn’t see and had to stop to keep from tripping. I asked what she was doing. She said, “I’m hiding from the sun.”

Pic 2: I left Abby alone for 2 minutes with her watercolor paints. When I came back, she looked up at me (with green hands, lips, and tongue) and says, “Mommy, I don’t eat paint.” Of course.

This is what Abby has been up to since the new year started.

Ha! You thought I was going to say we’re expecting a baby. Well, I’m not (even though we are). We adopted a new kitten. Her name is Magnolia Thunderkitty — Maggie for short. We all love her, especially Abby.

p.s. The baby is due July 4, 2010.

We just updated our blog software, and are having some technical difficulties. The pictures on some of the older posts are missing. We are working on it, and they will be back up shortly.
